The modern game is changing. Back in the day, most every player adopted conventional gripping techniques used what would be considered a significant amount of wrist hinge, while in a crouched position, and their hands almost attached to their lead thigh.
Times have changed, the modern player is adapting to the faster, truer surfaces and putters have become heavier, longer, counter balanced, zero torque. Neck styles frame the ball in a variety of ways, CG’s are movable, toes flow, and some toes don’t flow at all. There are broomsticks, undersize, some that attach to the lead arm and some that even attach to the trail arm.
The modern player is inventive, resourceful, and are open to anything to better manage the putter face consistently.
Our proprietary progressive TRU core was first released in a flat forward paddle design that mirrored the face to emphasize in an effort to increase awareness of the face to promote consistency.
To meet the needs of that player who’s talents are more suited for feeling the movement of the shaft on plane thru the stroke, we’ve incoporated our TRU core into a versatile round platform.
The shaft still exits the grip along the leading edge to align the hands, shaft, and putter face establishing a no angles shaft lean making impact predictable. The players hands will still connect to the “quiet” part of the underside of the shaft. The grip is longer and the additional real estate inspires confidence even in the most demanding situations. The shape is round but with an extra wide top paddle to accept lead hand low, claws, saws, pencils and more.
