It would be nearly impossible to tell our brand story effectively without understanding that the biggest part of our story is really you.
The Goat brand was inspired by every player who has a dream, is committed to the pursuit of excellence, and grinds it out daily; looking for that edge to get them over the top.
We share the very same values seen is that player. The one whose determination to be their best is unwavering, or those willingly choosing to be part of the 5am club grinding in the gym or a shag bag deep before the grounds crew can cut the first cup of the day. We respect the tenacity and the courage of the journeymen who still chooses to listen to that inner voice that simply says, keep going. We admire the persistence of that young competitive player who chases their dream with a recklessness and a resolve and most of all, we like to give a shout out to every player that was told they’re not good enough.
Champions are made in many ways, so we know the only one who can hold any of us back, is ourselves.
We share many of those same values seen in those types of players and with a pursuit of excellence, a tiny bit of recklessness, and a whole lot of fortitude, we listened to our inner voice and launched the Goat brand in late 2021. At the time our team had a combined 20+ years’ experience of being around this great game. We played competitively at a high level, were club professionals, and had more than a decade as club fitters for some of the largest OEM’s in the business to create this vision of ways to simplify the game for every type of player.

While other brands create product based on stroke type, gripping style, hand size, & player feel preference, etc. we also consider those valuable performance features, but we like to take it a step further. We also focus on simplifying the stroke, making it more repeatable, and making it measurable easier to manage the face angle and shaft lean at impact. For the first time, we blended awareness and repeatable performance with max stability.
Our first, technology, of progressively relocating the shaft core is the first of its kind. Because it relocates the putter face back under the lead hand establishing shaft lean at address, player is more aware of the lead side of the shaft from the lead hand all the way down to the face. It’s essentially, small grip performance with big grip stability. The deeper trail side adds stability, tighter face management pattern, repeatability, smooth transitions, consistent closure rates, all are part of setting up a repeatable delivery with the same shaft lean established at address in back at impact; game changer. This progressive TRU core can be incorporated into any + size grip shape to meet a preferred gripping style and though the grip outer dimension may change, the face will be in the same location to the lead hand. Now that’s another level of consistency.

Off course, our goal is to give back as much as we can to those who gave us the opportunity to launch this brand. To support those who are willing to sacrifice everything we want to honor you and support you financially when necessary, so a percentage of all apparel, accessories, and grips, will go to partnering charities because we believe it’s a team game.
