Why We Made an Offset Shaft Core
Performance Challenges with Oversize Grips
As the grip gets larger, it creates more effective offset as the player’s lead hand is moved farther in front of the putter face. Player must now compensate at set up & face angle at impact.
The shaft also begins to disappear in the player’s sight picture within the larger grip body. The player begins to struggle with awareness & consistently lining it up at impact. Player must now compensate where zero is on the arc and aligning the shaft at impact to deliver the correct loft.

Bias's are created when gaming an Onset Design
- Player will fight a leftward Miss b/c the face is forward of the shaft
- Player will fight adding effective loft while the face looks leftward unless he maintains the designed shaft lean
GOAT TP minimizes those bias's with the offset core- 2 Ways
1. The Offset Shaft Core Reduces the Onset up to 1/2 a shaft. Lead Side of Grip is more Forward &
Lead Hand and Putter Face are restored into alignment
2. The angle of the shaft core runs with the grip body, not at an angle. Others are pressed forward or at an opposing angle to the shaft; the player's lead hand is more likely to be addressed and delivered with Extension- Player will unfortunately still fight a leftward bias.
The GOAT shaft core is runs perfectly parallel to the grips body and uses offset to align the hands, work with the shaft, and face - with this design a player will not be as susceptible to extension at set up or impact, can more easily maintain the designed shaft lean b/c he is working with the shaft; the result is a more repeatable delivery while reducing the leftward bias whether the shaft lean is 0* to 3*.
